Crawfish

During our Structures of Life science kit the the kids became proud parents to their crawfish. They took care of them daily with cleaning thier homes and giving them fresh water to live in and food. At first some of the kids were scared to hold them but as you can see by these pictures they all turned into pros at holding them and they didn't want to put them down.

Harriet Tubman

In social studies while studying about Harriet Tubman and the underground railroad the students put on a reader's theatre all about her. They did a GREAT job!!!

Spelling Work Stations

Everyday the kids get with their spelling buddies to work on
different activities in order for them to learn their spelling words.

Math Games

The students worked in groups to help them learn variables and expressions.

In science we did an experiment where the students we able to dig up dinosaur fossils.

One student was the palentologist, worker, draftsman, and the photographer at each station. There were four stations so each student had the opportunity to preform each job.
